[Android] Autofill in apps

Setup

1. Tap Enable in Settings in Autofill in Apps category.
2. The app will guide you to your phone’s Passwords, passkeys & autofill settings
3. Select SafeInCloud: Autofill in Apps.
4. Confirm action in the next pop-up.
5. Done!


Usage

1. Open the target app (e.g., email, banking, social media). 
2. Tap on the username or password input field.  


3. You will see a keyboard toolbar button with Unlock SafeInCloud item
4. Select it and unlock SafeInCloud.
5. Select the correct login from the suggestions field.
6. Tap to fill; SafeInCloud will place your username and password in the app’s fields.

Troubleshooting

1. No Autofill popup suggestion

  1. Confirm the SafeInCloud Accessibility service is still enabled.
  2. Reboot your device if you just turned on the service.
  3. Try tap and hold an input field and select Autofill from the context menu.
  4. Some apps block autofill; if so, use copy/paste or the SafeInCloud keyboard.
2. Some card does not appear as an autofill suggestion
  1. Unlock SafeInCloud (make sure the app is not locked in the background).
  2. Check that it has the Use for Autofill checkbox.
  3. For some apps, you might need to Add another field of the Application type to a card.
