[Android] Autofill in apps
Setup
1. Tap Enable in Settings in Autofill in Apps category.
2. The app will guide you to your phone’s Passwords, passkeys & autofill settings.
3. Select SafeInCloud: Autofill in Apps.
4. Confirm action in the next pop-up.
5. Done!
Usage
1. Open the target app (e.g., email, banking, social media).
2. Tap on the username or password input field.
3. You will see a keyboard toolbar button with Unlock SafeInCloud item
4. Select it and unlock SafeInCloud.
5. Select the correct login from the suggestions field.
6. Tap to fill; SafeInCloud will place your username and password in the app’s fields.
Troubleshooting
1. No Autofill popup suggestion
- Confirm the SafeInCloud Accessibility service is still enabled.
- Reboot your device if you just turned on the service.
- Try tap and hold an input field and select Autofill from the context menu.
- Some apps block autofill; if so, use copy/paste or the SafeInCloud keyboard.
2. Some card does not appear as an autofill suggestion
- Unlock SafeInCloud (make sure the app is not locked in the background).
- Check that it has the Use for Autofill checkbox.
- For some apps, you might need to Add another field of the Application type to a card.
